We are a large company in the healthcare space and are looking for someone who can take real ownership of our infrastructure and help move it forward. This role is about modernizing an on-prem environment, improving reliability, and helping us transition toward a more scalable hybrid cloud setup (AWS or Azure). In the role, you would take full ownership in modernizing and maintaining mission-critical tech infrastructure and help improve things in a scalable way.

Requirements

• Experience working across both on-prem and cloud environments (hybrid setups are key)

• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure

• Proven experience with infrastructure migrations and modernization

• Comfortable setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines

• Strong understanding of system reliability, monitoring, and observability

• Experience working with on-prem setups like data centers, VMs, or private cloud

• Able to work with legacy systems, especially where business logic lives in the database

• Some DBA knowledge (helpful, but not the core focus)

• Experience helping transition older architectures to more modern systems
