We’re looking for a Tech Lead who combines strong hands-on engineering with day-to-day technical leadership. This role stays close to the code while helping guide implementation, maintain quality standards, and support reliable delivery. You’ll work closely with product partners and a Chief Architect to turn architectural direction and product needs into practical, well-built solutions.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys building, reviewing, and improving real production systems while supporting other engineers in a regulated environment.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience

• 2+ years in a Tech Lead, Senior Engineer, or similar role

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, and AWS

• Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, data models, and integrations

• Working knowledge of React and frontend architecture

• Experience translating product requirements and architectural guidance into clear technical designs

• Ability to lead day-to-day technical execution across backend and frontend systems

• Experience writing, reviewing, and maintaining production-quality code

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar)

• Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks
