We’re looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and architecture of a custom software platform, with a strong focus on automation and AI-enabled workflows. This role centers on building production-grade, scalable systems with reliable integrations and safe automation that reduces manual work across the organization. You’ll set architectural direction, define standards, and mentor senior engineers while staying hands-on with critical design decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and architecting production backend systems for custom applications

• Proven experience operationalizing AI in production (LLMs, OCR, classification, or similar)

• Strong experience building integration-heavy automation systems (APIs, files, scrapers, event-driven workflows)

• Deep understanding of designing systems that handle failures, retries, and data consistency

• Experience setting architectural standards and guiding senior engineers

• Experience designing and driving SaaS-style architectures with repeatable patterns and shared services

• AWS experience preferred
