We're looking for a senior engineer who's been in the trenches. Wrestled with gnarly production issues, debugged problems three layers deep, and gained deep knowledge into systems that everyone else was afraid to touch. Someone who's dug deep into the guts of real systems, dealt with the ugly parts, and actually enjoyed it. The kind of person who thrives on technical minutiae that most people avoid.
You need to be a senior .NET developer with truly deep understanding of the framework. For the data side we use MongoDB and Elasticsearch, someone coming from a SQL background who's willing to learn is fine.
You'll own a lot of our platform infrastructure, and collaborate closely with the team on the rest. Database optimization, framework migrations, security hardening, deployment, build systems, CI/CD, developer tooling. You need to be deep enough to have strong opinions and back them up with real deep knowledge.

What you would work on:
Platform infrastructure: MongoDB query optimization and index strategy. Elasticsearch tuning. .NET framework migrations and runtime upgrades. Security (auth, sessions, rate limiting). Docker containers and developer tooling.
Testing: This person owns test infrastructure end to end: improving the infrastructure itself, expanding coverage, writing tests, helping the team write them, and owning data seeding. They're the point person for how we test.
Inventory ownership: This is the one domain they fully own. They review every PR that touches inventory, guide other developers through it, and actively shape the codebase: rewriting, optimizing, and evolving the inventory infrastructure as the system grows.
