We’re looking for an experienced RPG Developer with strong hands-on expertise in AS400 systems to support and enhance core enterprise applications. This role involves developing and optimizing RPG programs, customizing ERP software, and building integrations to support key business operations. You’ll work on a mature, high-performance system where your technical precision will directly impact efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience with AS400/RPG programming, including subfile screen design, development, and maintenance.

• Hands-on experience customizing or extending VAI S2K 5.4 ERP software is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in DB2 — adding user-defined fields, tables, and optimizing queries for performance.

• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations to connect multiple business systems.

• Debug, enhance, and refactor existing programs to improve speed, reliability, and maintainability.

• Exposure to EDI workflows and data migration projects preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a structured environment with a focus on stability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
