A growing engineering team is hiring a Backend Developer to build the core services behind a modern, enterprise-grade B2B SaaS platform in the healthcare space. You'll work alongside frontend and backend teammates to design and ship production-ready APIs using Python and AWS. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys backend architecture, clean API design, and collaborating closely within a full-stack product team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development in Python (FastAPI or similar)

• Strong REST API development and backend architecture fundamentals

• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, API Gateway, IAM)

• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL

• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

Nice to Have

• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform

• Containerized development with Docker

• API versioning, auth flows, and backend security best practices

• Prior work on enterprise or SaaS products at scale
