We are a large healthcare company and technology plays an important role in supporting our clients and internal operations, with multiple business-critical systems, workflows, and integrations operating at scale. We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who combines strong software engineering skills with hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools.

This role focuses on building and supporting backend services, APIs, integrations, and workflow-driven applications. The ideal candidate has exposure to medical billing, healthcare operations, or revenue cycle management and can independently turn business requirements into production-ready solutions.

This is not an entry-level or beginner AI-coding role. We are looking for an intermediate-to-advanced developer who already has solid backend engineering fundamentals and uses AI to accelerate development while maintaining technical quality.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET.

• Develop and support REST APIs, integrations, and data workflows.

• Use AI-assisted coding tools for development, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation.

• Review and validate AI-generated code for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Work with SQL and relational databases.

• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to translate complex business workflows into technical solutions.

• Build and support workflows related to medical billing, RCM, healthcare operations, claims, or payments.

• Contribute to automated testing, code reviews, deployments, and production support.

What We're Looking For

• 3–7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong backend development experience.

• Strong C# and .NET / .NET Core skills.

• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and backend services.

• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in professional software development.

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals and ability to independently evaluate AI-generated code.

• Experience with SQL, APIs, integrations, and data flows.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Experience supporting production applications.

Healthcare / Medical Billing Experience

Experience with medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), claims, healthcare operations, EHR/EMR systems, or healthcare payments is strongly preferred.

Preferred

• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.

• Salesforce or enterprise platform integrations.

• Workflow automation.

• AI-enabled applications or intelligent data processing.

• CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production support.
