Position Details
We are a large healthcare company and technology plays an important role in supporting our clients and internal operations, with multiple business-critical systems, workflows, and integrations operating at scale.
About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Lead to support complex operational systems and internal technology initiatives.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on technical architecture, code design, development quality, and day-to-day technical execution. You will work closely with technology leadership while providing technical direction for assigned systems and initiatives.
The ideal candidate is comfortable staying close to the code, reviewing implementation, making architectural decisions, and guiding developers while balancing business requirements and technical priorities.
What You'll Own
Own the technical design and architecture of assigned systems and initiatives.
Stay hands-on with the codebase to guide implementation and review technical decisions.
Establish and maintain standards for code quality, design patterns, integrations, documentation, and maintainability.
Collaborate with technology leadership and other technical leads on architecture, security, and technical standards.
Identify technical debt, production risks, and system reliability gaps and help prioritize improvements.
Team & Delivery
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for internal and outsourced development teams.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to developers.
Review code and help continuously improve engineering quality.
Support release planning, environment management, rollback readiness, and post-release validation.
Participate in discovery and technical scoping for new initiatives.
Identify blockers early and help keep technical delivery on track.
Systems & Reliability
Develop a strong understanding of core platforms, integrations, and automation workflows.
Improve technical documentation and system knowledge across the technology environment.
Evaluate workflow automation opportunities in coordination with other technology initiatives.
Help improve monitoring, alerting, production support, and issue escalation practices.
Balance speed, quality, reliability, and maintainability in day-to-day development.
Required
Strong C# and .NET development experience with recent hands-on coding experience.
Experience owning technical design or architecture for business-critical systems.
Experience building, supporting, or improving internal tools, workflows, or operational systems.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, or enterprise platforms.
Experience reviewing code and providing technical direction to other developers.
Ability to work effectively in a live environment where systems and processes are continuously evolving.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM/platform integrations.
Experience with workflow automation.
Experience with automation, AI-assisted workflows, or intelligent document/data processing.
Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools.
Experience in healthcare, RCM, financial operations, or other high-volume operational environments.
Experience working with outsourced development teams.
Experience improving QA, release, monitoring, or rollback processes.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a manager-only role. You will be expected to remain hands-on with the technology, contribute to technical decisions, review code, and guide implementation.
It is also not a purely individual-contributor role. You will influence how technical work is designed, planned, reviewed, released, and supported across internal and external development teams.
